DD Day Call for Presenters – Deadline January 29, 2016

The DD Day Program Committee  is currently looking for presentation submissions for the 2016 DD Day Conference on May 26, 2016.

The Committee is seeking an eclectic mix of workshops that meet the needs of a diverse group of conference goers. Presentations that offer a collaborative, practical model that can be utilized by other individuals or programs with similar needs will be given preference.

All presentations should be designed to last 1 hour and 15 minutes in length. Conference proposals, which are designed solely to promote an agency or an agency’s services, will not be considered.

The deadline for presentation submissions is January 29, 2016.

DD Day Call for Performers – Deadline March 15, 2016

 

Attention Performers! Developmental Disabilities Awareness Day offers an opportunity for people with developmental disabilities to showcase their unique talents. All performances are held in The Niagara Falls Conference & Event Center Cataract Room throughout the day. The DD Day Entertainment Committee is looking for individuals and groups of individuals who would like to perform. These can include the following:

Singers ** Singing Groups ** Instrumentalists ** Dramatic Groups ** Dancers/ Dance Groups ** Comedians ** Dramatic Readings *** ETC…

To accommodate all performers scheduled, performances should be no longer than 15 minutes in length.

An upright piano is available for use at the performance site. Each group should plan on bringing its own instruments, equipment, music, etc.
